Default Of Earth and Wind: The AoE Dervish

D/A

[skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Aura of Displacement[/skill][skill]Aura of Thorns[/skill][skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill][skill]Dust Cloak[/skill][skill]Staggering Force[/skill][skill]Mystic Twister[/skill][skill]Mystic Sandstorm[/skill]

Earth Prayer: 13 = 11 + 1 + 1
Wind Prayer: 12 = 10 + 2
Mystism: 12 = 10 + 2

Vital Boon for self heal.
Aura of Displacement to enemy
Aura of Thorn to lock thier position
Heart of Holy Flame = 50 + 42 damage
Dust Cloak = 72 damage + blind
Staggering Force = 72 damage + weakness
Mystic Twister = 102 damage
Mystic Sandstorm = 128 damage + trigger Aura of Displacement to teleport you back.

In the end, you have done:
- 557 AoE damage
- Applied Conditions: Cripple, Bleeding, Blind, Weakness, Burning.
- Self Healed for 157
All within 10 seconds.

I originally built this for PvP...but the AoE is just too small to be effective in PvP...

You'd deal if not more AOE damage by just using a Scythe build, and wow, that builds takes more energy then a fat kid takes cakes

I made a similar build up for fun, and as there is no scythe mastery you don't need a scythe, titan, I used a Staff with a 15/-1 inscription.

You know what's the problem with this?
Earth Damage.
I've tried this on different occasions, and I have NEVER seen it actually deal 500+ damage. Ever.
Btw it's pretty important to remind people to Aura of thorns only after Displacement, for Cripple+bleeding.

No one will stand still while you cast enchantments in PvP, and cripple won't last unless you get another condition out quickly, which you can't.

In PvE you can use Channeling to spam enchantments.

very energy have build.....Isn't this why most of time builds like are run by a team of dervishes to keep the damage going while not sucking up all your energy?

build like this have been around for awhile, and there are simple better versions. you only need 4 enchantments and no wind.

aura of thorns => Vital Boon => Mystic Regen => AoD => Mystic Sandstorm

use a bunch of dervishes, its called a spike team

Wind have larger area. Mystic Twister have "in the area" range.

Most of the time, mystic sandstorm has a large enough range to hit two people. But yeah, spike teams use this very effectively, considering you only need 3.
